The thing is, I know I'm gonna miss the second round of June interviews and then again will have to wait for July! so irritated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

04/21/2014 nice lady from NVC confirm that they received my IV package today. .

I also told myself I'd wait for Friday. Our IV package was scanned in on the 21st. Im now really fighting the urge to call today!

I am also waiting until Friday to see if they have at least reviewed my IV packet. It's hard to wait though...I just want to call 35 times before getting through, to wait on hold for 25 min, so then I can have a 30 second conversation. :rolleyes:

you just have to keep calling and calling until you dont get a busy tone. call back to back. i usually get connected after 5-10 tries.

01-03-14 - Transfer notice to Nebraska

01-06-14 - Application received at Nebraska

03-13-14 - NOA2 notification

03-25-14 - NVC received case

04-24-14 - Case number and IIN received over the phone

05-02-14 - Paid AOS Fees

05-07-14 - AOS Fees showed up as paid

05-08-14 - AOS package received at NVC (Scanned on may 8th)

05-08-14 - IV Bill showed up and paid

08-01-14 - Interview date assigned (Sept 9th)

08-05-14 - Received Interview Letter via email

You must keep dialing. Use the "redial" function on your telephone, if you have one.

I usually have to redial at least 15 times before it rings through. I know it's hard if you are dialing from overseas or using a calling card with a huge passcode!!!

Just keep dialing!

There is my spouse name in my passport so no big deal to get PCC... :)

Kapila, at Ahmedabad they tend to be strict with the PCC. I've known many people who are unable to obtain a PCC without a Checklist or Interview Letter. For my wife, we just submitted the IV doc's without the PCC and NVC issued a Checklist right after they completed the case. Then you take that Checklist, and follow the process to obtain the PCC. This is ok and will not cause any delay's in processing or finishing your case. I have also read many other VJ members have had to do the same. The NVC acknowledges this for interviews at the Mumbai consulate and are not strict about it. You just have to make sure you take 2 copies of the PCC to the interview.

1/29/14 - NVC assigned case number

2/10/14 - DS-261 was filled out and AOS was paid

2/11/14 - AOS was mailed

3/10/14 - AOS Checklist for missing field (Didn't write N/A)

3/11/14 - AOS was resent

3/20/14 - IV fee was invoiced and paid

3/26/14 - DS-260 was filled out and the IV documents were mailed from India

3/27/14 - AOS was approved (Reply to the checklist)

4/1/14 - received a false checklist for IV documents

4/7/14 - IV Documents reached NVC

4/11/14 - IV Documents were touched by NVC

4/29/14 - Case Complete (Called on April 30)

4/30/14 - Checklist for IV docs (To obtain PCC - This is normal for Mumbai)

5/6/14 - CASE COMPLETE confirmation email received.

5/9/14 - Interview was scheduled for June 17 @ Mumbai Consulate

5/13/14 - Received IL letter (P4 Packet)

5/26/14 - Medical Appointment (Apollo/Ahmadabad)

You should call and not wait for them to respond to your emails. They take too long to respond to emails.

I just got my 2013 Tax Transcript online yesterday. And I mailed the 2013 tax return (MFS) pretty much on the last filing day. I am emailing it to my wife in India so she can print it out and take with her to the up coming interview in Mumbai, in case they want to see it.

Hi guys, congrats to all who have case completed and receive interview date. Today, I just check the copy of joint sponsor I864 form from lawyer, I realized that my lawyer forgot to fill in Part 4 (Information on the Sponsor (continued)). I'm afraid I will get checklist for that ?????. My AOS package n IV doc were sent on 5May.

So we sent the IV package before our joint sponsor bailed out on us. Does it matter that the AOS package will only be sent like three weeks afterwards? If I understood correctly they're not going to do anything to the IV package until they get the AOS, am I right? All fees are paid and DS-260 is completed.

IR1 took 520 days....
