Good Grief Saylin!

How on earth did you overcome this ordeal? Emotionally and practically?

Well, being denied twice in the span of less than 2 weeks sucked horribly. Didn't attempt another US entry until 9 months later with visa in hand (and I was still a little nervous!). During that time, my husband came up to see me instead 5 times.

No your right they are pricks at least most of them, they are on a power trip and they use it when ever they can. How rude to not let you in I would have just cried if they had done that to me. The Embassy counselors aren't any better but actually worse. Wonder if that is just in Arab countries? :hehe:

Oh trust me, there was a lot of crying on my part. Especially the second time since I knew I was legally allowed to enter (first time I was denied was completely my fault, I was a noob then :P), but I just got an @$$hole the second time sadly. Oh well, it's all in the past now...

Once, when crossing the Canada-U.S border I heard the officer tell the young lady ahead of me "Are you a go-getter? Cause if you're not a go-getter I can throw you right back to where you came from." :wow:

Woooooooooow. Some of these people *shakes head* Maybe they hire the meanest people possible to be border officers? :huh2:

It's a sinister plot that has been hatched between Joy, Arthur and your attorney - designed to render you completely out of your gourd before you get a Case Complete. I wouldn't be surprised if you get a zillion more of these from all of Joy's cohorts at the NVC...

I would say definitely still possible, ours wasn't assigned until the middle of the month. Congrats and good luck!! Fingers crossed you get a June slot! :D

Try calling right at 7am EST- i usually get someone pickup by 7.20am if i call then.

hey guys i needed some help my i 130 was approved on 10 march 2014 and its been almost 2 months and i havent recieved anything from nvc

so i emailed them few weeks ago and i finally got a reply saying that i should fill ds-261 form online but the thing is i dont have my nvc case number yet which is needed to fill the form, I tried calling them a few times but no one ever picks up please let me know what i should be doing now

your help would be highly appreciated

Thanks! Just trying to see how far NVC is.

My AoS was scanned in on the 22nd April also. Hoping to have it accepted with no checklists!
