It's no guarantee, but worth a shot!

So many beautiful story's.. I wanna share mine as well.

After I graduated high school in Germany I went to Chicago for a year as an Au Pair. I did competitive Cheerleading in Germany so I wanted to look for a gym in the US so I could keep doing Cheerleading and also meet Americans and not just other Au Pairs. My husband was coaching at that gym, so when I went there the first time he was there as well. We stunted around a bit and when I was about to got back home that day he invited me to go with him and some other people to Six Flags the next day because it was Labour Day. We became great friends after that and fell in love after a couple of months.

After another 6 months it was time for me to go back to Germany, so I could start college. He decided to come with me, because he just graduated college in the US. So in Summer 2009 we both went to Germany, he found a civilian job on an Army Base and automatically got a permit residence with that. We lived together in Germany for three years until he decided to join the US Air Force. He left Germany in March 2012.

We saw each oh her the next time over Christmas 2012 in Chicago at his parents house, he proposed to me and we decided to get married the next day.. Since then we are waiting for me to be finally able to move. We will probably have more times apart in the next couple of years because of his job but I just can't wait to at least have a home together again.

Omg im so happyy just recieved my case number and invoice via email from the nvc.????

1 month and 1 week after Approval notice

Aaaahhh. Now instead of wondering about your case once a week, you'll start loggin' & checkin' & frettin' 3-4 times a day. You're in for a nail-biting experience during the next few weeks (I'm not far behind you).

Curious... Did they just dig up your e-mail address from the USCIS-sent case file? I tried a couple of times to supply my e-mail address to NVC and they said that can only be done after a case # is assigned.

21-MAR-2014 I-140 + PP sent to USCIS

31-MAR-2014 Petition approved

16-APR-2014 Case shipped to NVC

29-APR-2014 Case received by NVC

23-MAY-2014 Case # assigned

4-JUN-2014 IV Bill invoiced and PAID (AOS Exempt, DS-261 Waived)

6-JUN-2014 DS-260 forms submitted

10-JUN-2014 IV Docs received by NVC

13-JUN-2014 IV Docs matched to case (scanned)

30-JUL-2014 Case Complete, CC email auto-sent one week later

20-AUG-2014 AOS fee changed to N/A (Final clearance for interview scheduling?)

29-AUG-2014 Consular Interview scheduled on Oct 1st. Later rescheduled to Sep 24th. P4 Letter received following business day

14-SEP-2014 CEAC status changed to Ready

15-SEP-2014 Medical results delivered to Embassy by Panel Physician

24-SEP-2014 Consular Interview, went into AP (3rd AP in as many consecutive visa applications)

14-OCT-2014 Visa issued

22-OCT-2014 POE at Dulles Airport, Washington, D.C.

Story of my life...

Every single day of my life I am asked the following questions, "So when is your husband coming? What do you mean you don't know when he is coming? When will you find out then?" I bought a home about 5 months ago so that I could renovate and everything would be ready for him when he arrived so now they follow up with , "So when will the house be ready? When will you move in?" and I don't have an answer to any of those because I am not moving in WITHOUT HIM but I still don't know WHEN HE IS COMING!!! :girlwerewolf2xn:

And then they have the nerve to say, "You seem so upset and irritated." Oh really? I wonder why... :bonk:

Sorry....I just had to rant...

ughhhhh welcome to my life!!!! If I get asked one more time...

Yes your right i was surprised beceause they told me my case arrived friday but it was approved on april 1st.

I actually got 2 emails one with the case number and invoice and another one stating it was ready for processing. Im not to sure because i did send them an email last week asking about my i-129f petiton. Maybe they input that petition number and replied with the case number from the i-130 petition.but when i called to verify it was the i-130 the lady read back to me my phone number and my email address so most likely uscis gives them all the information attached to the petitions
