I called NVC again and spoke to Lee. She said they are halfway done with scheduling for June. So if you're going to get a case complete soon, you still have a shot at a June interview.

July 1st 2013: NOA1

March 5 2014: Received case number, IIN, & BIN

transferred from NBC to TSC on nov 18, 2013.

waiting waiting and hoping NO RFE.......

jan 31, 2014 NOA 2 ....

finally i 130 journey is approved ...

NVC stage

02/26/2014 nvc received my approved i130 from uscis

04/01/2014 case number and invoiced assigned

04/02/2014 AOS fee paid

04/04/2014 iv fee invoiced. not able to pay yet

04/06/2014 iv fee ok to pay, still in process

04/04/2014 AOS package sent via usps express mail. but weekends hummmmm

04/07/2014 AOS package arrived to NVC ( according to USPS tracking).

04/08/2014 officer lady from NVC said that my AOS packages are received .

04/09/2014 DS 260 completed. make some name mistake. hope it will not delay my case.

04/16/2006 IV package for parents are delivered to NVC ( according to USPS tracking).

04/21/2014 nice lady from NVC confirm that they received my IV package today. .

I have a question about this. Is this specific based on country? I'm wondering if I get a case complete by late May, can I still get an interview date in June...for Hong Kong.

It is country specific, but for a case complete in late May, your best bet would be a July interview.

July 1st 2013: NOA1

Oh, I'll need to submit my partner's 2013 tax transcript, correct? I mean it's May so I'd think you'll get checklisted if you didn't include your 2013 tax documents. :oops:

2 questions.



1. Does NVC or the embassy send the medical/interview letter to the applicant and how? Email or regular mail?



2. I keep reading we should bring originals of birth certificates and wedding certificates. Since the interview is in Dominican Republic, do I still have to translate the documents and if so to english or spanish? Also, would my birth certificate have to be apostilled?




Sorry just real nervous. We've gotten this far and I would kick myself if for something petty, the embassy wouldn't approve a visa.

You can submit a signed and dated copy of the 2013 Federal Return with W-2s and all schedules ......OR

Follow this link to download the transcript of your 2013 Federal Tax Return online.....It is usually available as soon as you get your refund.

Going the transcript route you dont have to provide W-2s or schedules...http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

Hello guys!

I am beneficiary, my wife is US Citizen petitioner.

We got approved in April 30 by Nebraska.

I am happy here i see much people who i know from I-130 October filers.

Obviously my case will be received by NVC this month bc it just started. I tried to add my case to NVC spreadsheet.
