Our NOA1 date is Dec. 14, and since then we haven't been touched even once!

Has anyone else been approved, or know of approvals, without any 'touching'?

We are going through California (hopefully we're going, right now it seems we're standing still!)

Thanks to everyone participating in these forums - and a big thanks to the moderators - what a great tool, what fun, what a lifesaver!

12/09/05 Check Cashed (Deposit Date on Check)

12/19/05 NOA1 physically Recieved

12/15/05 NOA1 (Postmark Date)

12/05/05 NOA1 Official Recieved Date (Printed on NOA1)

12/14/05 NOA1 Official Notice Date (Printed on NOA1)

Waiting Begins for NOA2

03/09/06 NOA2physically Received

03/07/06 NOA2 (Postmark Date)

03/06/06 NOA2 Official Date (Printed on NOA2)

Never touched just Approved (Aprox 85-90 days depending on which days you count from)

3/20/06 NVC.... Received Processing

3/21/06 NVC Mailed to B.C. Consulate

3/24/06 I emailed consulate asking where is packet 3?

4/03/06 Consulate responded to my email saying packet 3 was mailed 3/23/06 and consulate attached packet 3 so I faxed DS230 and requested interview date asap

4/5/06 Medical (booked two weeks previous)

4/6/06 Consulate phoned to say received fax and booked interview

5/5/06 Interview in Vancouver - Approved!

5/9/06 Drove to Seattle then flew to Tampa - Yay welcome back 'home'

mid July - got married

early August - sent AOS/EAD applications

08/14/06 NOA for AOS/EAD

08/22/06 RFE - sent more financial info (most they already had, but we resent anyway)

09/09/06 - Biometrics

09/11/06 -NOA - transferred to California Service Center

10/16/06 - Approved without interview!!!!! Yay, what a birthday present! (but still no EAD!)

Im sorry you didnt get touch or approval yet.

we have same date for noa1 & we got our noa2 march 3 without any prior touches.

I hope this can reasure you.Im sure your approval is right around the corner.

We applied in October 04 of course they sent it back the first time since the fee's had increased after we picked up the paper work, resubmitted in November and we didn't hear anything until the end of Jan 05 and then it was "bad news", the waiting is the hardest part..... You will hear something cause it will either be a notice that they they recieved the paper work at least and then a few more months until you are approved.

We didn't get touched either from November 30th until January 30th when we got our NOA2. So it may not be a bad sign.

August 20th 2006: Our wedding day

August 27th 2006: AOS and EAD mailed to Chicago lockbox (day 1 let the waiting begin again)

September 1st 2006: NOA from MSC for AOS and EAD stating AOS and EAD recieved (day 6)

September 7th 2006: EAD touched (day 12)

September 15th 2005: email stating AOS transferred to CSC (day 20)

September 16th 2006: Biometrics (day 21)

September 18th 2006: EAD and AOS Touched (day 23)

September 21st 2006: Snail mail transfer notice (day26)

October 18th 2006: Still waiting (day 53)

November 2nd 2006: Still waiting (day 68)

Jan. 11 2007 : Still waiting nothing since September 18 (day 138)

November 22 2006: EAD Approved

Feb. 22 2007: Still waiting (day 180)

March 5th 2007: Finally a touch case now pending at the office it was transferred to wooooooohoooooooooo (day 190)

March 6 2007: Touched again (day 191)

March 7 2007: Another touch ( ohhhhhhhh I'm all fluttery inside ) (day 192)

March 12 2007: Touched (day 197)

April 3 2007: Touched ( day 220)

April 4 2007 : Touched (day 221)

April 6 2007: Approved (day 223)

Never been touched, Noa2 after 90 some days so I dont think it is a bad sign not to get touched.

The drama begins - again!

I was touched twice in two days, and after the touch on the second day, got approved! :dance:

I have heard of many others however, that never received a touch and got approved no problem! :yes:

Lastly, there are those that get touched... and then get a RFE! :(

1-11-2006: Sent packet 3 forms, etc. to Dublin

2-03-2006: Interview Date :)APPROVED!!!

2-05-2006: Flying to Logan Airport

2-11-2006: Wedding Date

3-14-2006: Filed AOS and EAD

3-22-2006: NOA1 (AOS and EAD)

We received our NAO1 on 1/3/06. All of a sudden we got touched AND approved on 3/2/06. Just play the game patiently and you'll save yourself the nervous train wreck that you can easily slip into.
