My ex friend cynthia had been dating his brother for a year when she started working at the business where i worked. One day cynthia showed her fiance and his brother a picture of me. He wanted to get to know me. So he was on a social media page, and i went and made a profile, just to see what was up. Lol we started talking and i didnt believe a word he said. We started talking online in february, then at end of march we started dating, then cynthia and her fiance got married in june and i went with her, so i met my hubby then. We got along so well that i knew we were made for each other. So when i returned i started the papers july 1st. Cynthia got mad and is not my friend anymore. Our interview was feb 26, he came to united states in march 15, and we got married april 14. Everything is going well, and he is adjusting well. There was no red flags, and we provided 5-6 photos, and lots of phone bill evidence, and never got an rfe.

Well Im glad you can be with ur hubby now... Is he from the Dominican ? I also have a lot of cell ph bills, Whatapp, and the boss revolutions log,... I have pics from when we met, the places that we visited and I was there, and also pics of me and his family here in NY... Im planing on sending everything when I submmit my applications....... Thank you again!!!

If you're sure it's something you want to commit to, then by all means file! Just make sure you have exhaustive evidence.

I met my wife through Facebook in 2009 and she was able to download our entire chat history for our petition... it was 4,000 pages long, so we had to edit it down. Bear in mind that you can delete out the content if you're worried about your privacy as I've read they're only interested in the frequency of messages; we however decided to leave ours in, warts and all. I'd suggest doing this too if you're submitting web chats, as you come from a high fraud country. Don't forget to submit copies of your plane tickets to see each other too! And remember, no matter how difficult the process may get, how amazing it will feel when you can be together without having to think of goodbyes. I wish you both the very best of luck.

Thank you so much for your advice... I printed our our whatsapp chat which was 300 pages ( as of march), cell bills etc... and Im planing on sending the whole thing without editing. I do have copies of my plain ticket, Passport copies, receipt of money I sent to rent a car etc.

Just want to mention that I edit my Whatsapp logs. I personally don't think it's a good idea to send them hundreds of pages because I know they won't look at all that. Many people say it's the quality of the content, not the quantity. So I edit quite a bit of stuff out. Mostly all the emoticons & good morning goodnight stuff. I'm trying to show relationship progression & frequent communication. But I'm using quality as a base, not quantity. Whether it'll work, I cannot say as I'm at TSC & likely won't receive NOA2 till 2017 or so.

Fast forwarding to NVC, you stated starting a new job and single mother of two. Make sure you meet the income requirements for 4 people, if not a co sponsor is needed.

They will be very scrutinizing of his intentions if he proposed on your first meeting, that is a flag in itself ..especially in a high fraud country. The counselor will be questioning whether he's using you to get to his family that's already in the U.S.

It can be overcome , just make sure all your paperwork is in order, some consulates allow extra evidence at the time of interview and others won't even take a look once the decision is made. Usually the decision is made before even meeting the fiance or spouse.

I do meet income guidelines, based on 2013 income tax return and also in my expected income for 2014... there shouldnt be a problem there. Thank you for ur advice!

That's why I said I edit. I've spent weeks reading & editing every single message sent between us since Oct 2013. Some messages were removed as not beneficial. It's a chore, but what I do now is every Monday, I edit the past week's chatlogs. That enables me to not have to do more than a week at a time & I can do a whole week in 15-30 minutes now. We also chat via Facebook, but I'm not including those at all. We do Skype calls but on my Xbox One or phone, so I can't really take logs, but it's fine. We have plenty of evidence.

You guys are getting close......Please do not send in tons of paper.....not everything....they will not ready through everything.

Here's my suggestion and what we did......worked for us.......

Draft a letter title Evolution of Our Relationship.....should be about three pages long.

In this you will provide a summary of how you first met, what you talked about then, how you came to decide to meet in person, describe that meeting, what you talked about after that meeting, when your relationship progressed to talking about a future together, when you decided to pursue the K-1, what you talked about then, what you talked about a future life together in the US, what you talk about now in planning that future. Throughout this letter refer to specific documents or evidences that bear these out.

Most relationships follow a normal progression and your evidence should bear this progression out.

copies of plane tickets aren't proof that you actually travelled. The boarding passes are the proof that you actually got on the plane, so she needs the copies of the boarding passes, not plane tickets.

I met my husband online, we talked for about a year before I went to meet him in real life. With his being from a MENA country it was impossible for him to get a visitor visa to come here. My first visit was for 6 weeks, during the visit he proposed and we married during that visit. A month after we married I filed the I130, With the petition I sent the forms and documentation required, a few photos, a copy of my boarding passes and a copy of my passport stamps. His petition was approved in 3 months with no RFEs. Between the time of filing the I130 and his interview(about 7 months), I traveled back to Jordan four additional times. I attended the interview with my husband, and although I brought a lot more supporting evidence just in case, the CO never asked to see any of it. My husband has been in the US for a year and a half now. He has a great job that he loves, we just bought out first home together, we are as happy as happy can be. In 2 weeks we are going back to Jordan for 3 weeks to visit his family.

You are right in saying do not send tons of paper. But writing a three page letter of an evolution of a relationship is unnecessary.

1 page is enough.

You are right in saying do not send tons of paper. But writing a three page letter of an evolution of a relationship is unnecessary.

1 page is enough.

Maybe for your country but for others a little more detail might be in order....we must always acknowledge that there are different requirements for different countries and Embassies. I will agree that 10 pages is too much.

You don't have NOA2 yet, so you don't know for sure that that "1 page is enough."

OP speaking to U as a sis. meeting someone on line I guess is OK in this day and age

but I would say take time to know a person. U also have 2 kids in the home, just look

B4 U leap...how does a person make such great lifetime decisions so quickly upon one

meeting?...Yes it has worked out great for a few ppl, but as someone suggested read prior

threads on the matter, I would run upon a person proposing to me after meeting me the first

time...LOVE.. what is love? its knowing a person more. With all the nice females in DR he

did not have one B4 he wanted to marry (think about it=he's the marrying kind) Does he

have kids, a current relationship on pause ? tell him U are going to move there to live with

him and test his answers....Best wishes to you and the kids...thread carefully
