I had my interview at Santo Domingo consulate, everything was good.

The co said I was approved and took my passport.

they didnt give any 221g or nothing.

The co said go to pay the courrier delivery for passport.

Now I am waiting my passport from march 18.

In my interview didnt lack any papers or medical exam.

I dont understand why they play with people like that, they approved and then they put people in ap, and that can take until year.

They dont respect the humans rights.

Once you are approved you have the right to be with your fiance.

I dont have any justice problem, I am a teacher and no criminal records.

I dont understand.

Having you Fiance call his Senator or Congress representative may help. But everything I read say you have to give them at least 60 days to work on the case while in AP. I am seeing your AP ending very soon and your visas being issued VERY FAST!! God says ask and it is given and where two or more agree it is done...

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

Thanks for your words.

I know that God helps us all time.

But this waiting make feel bad, at the consulate they play with people feelings.

They dont respect people.

My fiance hasnt criminal record , me neither.

They have all information about us, I dont understand why they put me in ap.

Be grateful you got approved!!! In DR it is usually an automatic denial if the petitioner is not present at the time of the interview!

Its difficult I know! But have patience. AP will take a few weeks, you can also call and find out what is going on or email the embassy. I got pretty good results emailing weekly.

Good luck!

Yes I know I am lucky that I was approved alone.

I have e-mailed them but I get the same answer: it is an internal process and that I need to wait.

But this waiting kille.

it is hard, but all the time I am sure that God gives the things in the best time.

But at the consulate they dont should play with people feelings like that, I am no a criminal or a dangerous person that they need be carefull.

I know how you feel we have been in AP for 46 days now. I hate the fact that we dont know how long. I have tried sending emails but they dont respond. I emailed my senator and also no response. The dates on my case status has changed three time but no change in the status. This waiting is killing me

  • 3 weeks later...

Did they ever get back to you? Are you still in AP without knowing why? I hope things are better.

Yes I still am on ap, and the worse thing is without know why.

Nothing was lacking and never I have been arrested or drugs problem.

Never in my life I have had problem with nothing.

I dont understand why.

Did you try calling the phone number where you pay the $7 to see if they know anything??? I can't believe they haven't mailed you a form telling you what they need.

I e-mailed them asking if there was something wrong in my interview and if they needed some documents and they answered me that they dont need nothing from me or the petitioner.

they have my passport now for 2 months and 10 days.

They have our lives suspend

Sorry to hear. Well we are in administrative processing. The consulate officer wanted us to provide them with my step children's birth certificate. He gave us a white paper with a list. It was the administrative processing "list". Ours only had the two birth certificates and his passport checked off on it. This is what we took to DOMEX. The list on the white piece of paper was similar to the check off list of all required documents and then went into depth in some other areas. It was a basic check off list. If our status doesn't change by the time I go back next week I am going to call the $7 phone number to see if they have more info. I will let you know if they are able to give me details regarding the documents I need (ie birth certificates). If they can perhaps it would be worth you trying to call to see if they can give you any specifics. I've called that number four different times and they have been helpful in 3 of 4 times I called. I also noticed that my case has been updated/worked on the CEAC website. The date has changed twice over this past week. Have you noticed if your date has been changing or is at a complete stand still???
