what? no personal checks? so what is all about I've been reading that checks must have name/names , adress printed? Please please clarify what is the righ way to pay the fees: personal checks? cashier checks? my husband and I have a joint account with our names on checks and were planning to use them to pay the fees.

Thank you

No personal checks, it means it will only come from the bank. Bank check on whatever bank you have right now. Let them write it down for you. I got an RFE by doing that too.. Hubby sent his personal check but they did not approve it.

The payment instructions have been posted here and they clearly state that a personal check is acceptable.

Not to mention all the people who used personal checks, myself included.

Thank you for "write it down for me" but my question has been clarified by others already. I do know what a personal check is and the ones my husband and I have came from our bank, where else do checks come from anyways? Thank you. It is not that complicated.

When our package got returned, all 3 forms were separated by the officer who reviewed them. Money order were printed by USCIS with the full name of Department of homeland security (even though I already wrote that). I wrote each check with the note for each fee such N' s I130 fee.

The second time we resubmitted the whole thing package in with the same checks. Thery were accepted.

I would recommed you to carefully review yow all the forms again and start fresh with everything. Since it is personal check, maybe write them separately. My boss wrote one check also and he got rejected. Possibly it depends who view your application.

Good luck.

Current address for an AOS from B2 does not need to be a foreign address. it should be a local address, in fact.

The I130 asks for "Your Relative's Address Abroad" and that is what the OP left blank, they need either a nominal address there or to write None and then resubmit as that was the only issue noted in their rejection.

Where did the OP say what exactly the rejection said?

Also do you have G-325A forms filled out and signed by both you and your spouse. One for you and one for your spouse. Also I'm not sure if the affidavit of support I-864 should be amongst the documents filed. I'm not sure if someone can let us know. Usually when USCIS rejects a package it's signatures ,passport style photos ,check is made out in the right amount and payable to U.S Department of Homeland Security or missing forms or skipped questions.
