ok so I submitted our I-751 packet in march, had my biometrics, but here is my issue

I have recently moved, my wife and I bought a house , now I went online to try and change my address, and where it says enter your receipt number and zip code submitted,

I entered the application number, ( EACxxxxxx) and selected I-751 for the form type, however it is saying that I entered and incorrect receipt number for the form selected

I used the receipt number on the biometrics letter,

you can call them and change your address over the phone. It is important that they have your new address on file in case they send an RFE.

Try using the receipt number from your NOA1. It worked for me.

Yes, I know that. However, when I encountered the same problem OP has, I tried the receipt number from the NOA1, just to see what happens, and I could change my address online with that one. On the case status website, I used the number from the biometrics letter.
