Surely the most open regime since Ghengis Kahn would not discriminate toward non-blacks would they?

Do you look like his son ?

I see the bad moon arising.

I see trouble on the way.

I see earthquakes and lightnin'.

I see bad times today.

He was black wasn't he.. I just feel it in my bones

Of course he was black. If it was a white dude, all he had to say was "it wasn't me." Case closed.

There was a former deputy I served with in the Guard, that admitted they had sent people to jail on stuff they knew was BS. Even planted drugs on folks

This is why no matter how much I might get mad when some cop is asking all type of crazy questions, I keep my eyes on him and never let my voice raise above the normal tempo. Don't want him feeling threatened...

Only closed after they march the white murderer to the gallows, firing range, mine field, cliff push, or lion's den. But, this guy was black, not white like Ted Bundy.

If your sense of justice was in place, this dude would have been killed for a murder he didn't commit. It's scary when you look at how many men and women are behind bars and are actually innocent.

The US still has the best justice system in the world. But, also has the largest incarceration rate in the world. Three hots and a cot. Everyone in prison was wrongfully convicted. Where ya been?

What is that percentage of folks that are actually innocent, not even tangentially responsible for the crime they were convicted of.

Marquis and Gross have been butting heads for several years. In a 2006 New York Times op-ed piece, Marquis took the 328 exonerations Gross and his colleagues found between 1989 and 2003, rounded it up to 340, then multiplied it by 10—a charitable act, he wrote, to “give the professor the benefit of the doubt.” He then divided that number by 15 million, the total number of felony convictions during the same period, and came up with what he said was an error rate of just 0.027 percent.

That is pretty remarkable.

10,000 INNOCENT PEOPLE CONVICTED EACH YEAR, STUDY ESTIMATES

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- About 10,000 people in the United States may be wrongfully convicted of serious crimes each year, a new study suggests.

The results are based on a survey of 188 judges, prosecuting attorneys, public defenders, sheriffs and police

chiefs in Ohio and 41 state attorneys general.

The study also found that the most important factor leading to wrongful conviction is eyewitness

misidentification.

I am kind of a don't let the police run over you guy, no matter your color.

I love those you tube Videos where some guy refuses to show his ID.

I have seen this one several times. I actually applaud this guy

But in your world this could not happen right ?

Still quite remarkable. I would have thought anything less that 2% would be acceptable.

That's a gamble I don't want to take, especially with the wife in the car.
