On The Spot AOS Approval but shows no status update

It has been over a week since our AOS Interview but the website still shows no update on the I-485. The I-130 however changed to Post Decision Activity shortly after the interview. And we received the approval letter 4 days after. I heard this is common but I can't help but worry.

No need to worry. If you got the welcome letter the green card is on its way. The website is notorious for being slow to update.

No need to worry. If you got the welcome letter the green card is on its way. The website is notorious for being slow to update.

Thank you! I'm not sure if it is the welcome letter I hear about. It's an approval notice for Petition for Allen Relative. (Husband or Wife of US Citizen)

It took a month for my I-485 to be formally approved even after verbal approval at the interview.

Ah, sorry, I thought it was the welcome letter. Either way, you should be good. It might take a month to receive the actual green card. I'm going to stand by what I said about the wonkiness of their online notification system.
