AR-11 form question (Change of Address)

Hello! My husband has been in the US with me since last November 2013. (He has a GC with conditions at this point since we applied via a CR1. So we do not have anything pending with the USCIS until we apply for Removal of Conditions in late 2015). He applied for a job and accepted a position in another state. Yay! I didn't want to quit my job until he has passed his probationary period (3 months). So we flew into the new city, secured an apartment, and I flew back down to our home here in FL for now.

Question: Does he have to fill out an AR-11 at this point? His official residence is our home here in FL. But he is temporarily at another location working. If he becomes a permanent employee, then I will follow.

I checked out the form and there is no place to inform the USCIS that his new temporary residence is a X location but his mailing address (the most stable one) remains in FL.

We want to make sure we are complying but just aren't clear on what the USCIS consider "Change of Adress".

Hi,

If you do your change of address online at the USCIS site you can state that this is a temporary move. USCIS asks to notify them within 10 days after you move but in your case I think you could keep it the same until you hear about your spouse's job.

If you move, like that become's his permanent address, then send an AR-11 (not sure you can do this online as an LPR) within 10 days of relocating. As the petitioner, you need to send an I-865 within 30 days of relocating.
