That there is money lined up for his "group " to buy it. now ... (perhaps at a fire sale price) Question ,,,,, How close is he to the ex-girlfriend.....He seems to be on both sides of this story.

Me and Luckytxn covered this when the story first broke. I don't know who the other half is, but I do think that it's a bit coincidental that Magic took the picture with this woman, that the tape was "released on accident", and Magic was ready and waiting to buy the team. Not to mention his scorn about Magic with his girlfriend.

It could very well be Magic wants the buy the team because of Sterling's racist rant. And he was just caught in the middle of a mess. It does make one think though.

Quick question. In Sterlings defense, someone broke the law here. I think all states have a form of wiretapping laws. If his conversation was recorded without his knowledge someone needs to pay the price right?

According to news and other various sources, he knew he was being taped. Apparently, he asked her to tape him so he wouldn't forget things. Also, I think this conversation took place in real time. Meaning this wasn't over the phone, but in person.
