rahma...have you heard of sparkpeople.com? My trainer has me hooked on it. You can fill in everything you ate for the day and it calculates calories, carbs, protein, and fats. You can also put your weight and goal weight to determine the right amount of calories you should have a day. Plus you can add your daily workouts and calculate calories burned.

Yeah Moh did too. He was on this kick to get me to drink more milk. He thought it would help my sensitive stomach. Haha my doctor proved him wrong when I went in for the stomach virus. Egyptians (and most ppl from MENA) are real big on wives tales and home remedies.

Yeah Moh did too. He was on this kick to get me to drink more milk. He thought it would help my sensitive stomach. Haha my doctor proved him wrong when I went in for the stomach virus. Egyptians (and most ppl from MENA) are real big on wives tales and home remedies.

I swear the milk is what got me sick in the first place. Right around the last day or two he came home with a huge smile and this weird bag of white stuff in a plastic bag thingy. He said it was milk. Then he tossed it in a pot and boiled it.

Then he put it in the fridge and once it was cool he got a huge glob of the stuff that rose to the top in a cup and told me to drink it.

I refused like ten times before he retreated solemnly to the kitchen and ate it himself. I felt wicked bad but the look of it made me gag. Then he wanted me to drink the stuff underneath the big globs so I acquiesced (sp?) and took a sip, made pretend to swallow it and went to the bathroom to spit the stuff out. I can still taste it. Blech!!!

what's going on with the wacky seatle weather this year? Isn't not normally like this is it?

I have no idea but I'm going to get connected with the weather man and ask!! No this is not normal!! If we get snow it is usually in late Jan and just enough around here to say it fell, not close down the whole city. Not one school district in a 40 mile radius is open today!! I'm even going home here shortly (itls 3pm now) to ensure I can make it home. Life at the doc's house was ok, but I miss my son!

Work day is over 4 me! Going to an empty home... I may just kick back and watch a stephen king movie. Im pretty sure it'll end up watching me tho....

I use sparkpeople.com EVERY day! It keeps me accountable and it's so easy to use! I program in my favorites like string cheese, and then use the fast food lists for McDonald's salads. I prefer the Asian Chicken salad, you really don't need dressing.
