That's absolutely devastating!

I know we all just have to stay positive; although some days are harder than others.

Some days are definitely harder than others. Particularly when you think about how much longer it could take. Putting plans on hold for an indefinite amount of time can really get to you. :( . I don't even check the USCIS website anymore.

Looks like 5 months would make us lucky. It will definitely get harder as July rolls around with its five month mark, and no notification arrives. :(

I try not to look at any of the updates.. false hope haha.

Fingers crossed for all of us!

I don't want to sound bitter, but it's very hard seeing April fillers at the CSC having already received their approval. I wish I could feel happy for them, but it's hard! :dead: I don't even bother looking at the February filer forum...

Those people in Feb thread are getting their interviews and approvals. This is so unjust

I know, it's pretty unjust. I try not to let the irritation take over my life (I also avoid the forums too...but it's addictive). I've been trying to stay positive, considering we're now half way through the process.

April? They have a bunch of May filers approved already. But, you know what is even worse? Any day now, we will see the first CSC June approval....that's gonna sting a bit :(

I wrote this to my Senator Sunday :

Dear Senator, I've made application to have my fiancee Ruby Xxxxx brought here from Colombia. Our application # SRCxxxxxxxx on file as of February 13, 2014 Is unfortunately stuck in the Texas service dept. I say unfortunately because if it had been transferred to the California service center it would have been approved within 60 days. Or if my fiancee had been from the Philippines it would have been approved almost instantly.. I'm sorry, but this is a great injustice to us and to the others who find themselves in the Texas service center to have to wait 6 months before the application is processed.. I love and miss my fiancee and the long drawn out and unfair process is causing us a lot of pain..
I hope you can look into the discrepancies and find a more fair and just way to screen these applications for everyone and not just the lucky few sent to California, or select few from the Philippines..
I received a call today in response. I was told I am misinformed and this is not actually the case and the two service centers are equal and well within the 5 month processing period and there is especially no preferential treatment for the Philippines.. I was also told not to believe the post I am seeing on here.. I asked if she really thought out of these hundreds of people posting here here they were all misinformed or lying? She said she would call the service centers was certain of there responses and I agreed she would also get the boilerplate response, same as she had just given me..
Sad....

Ok, so we are imagining the CSC fast approvals or they are all lying. Whew, I feel better now.

Interesting, someone last week made a thread about the Philippines no longer getting expedites. They said that someone from a visa group on FB called to speak to a Tier 2 officer about being outside processing times, and they were told that the relief measures for the Philippines expired. Maybe it's true?

I call total BS on CSC and TSC having equal processing times!

K-1

I got similar response from my Senator. My guess is that they based off from the 5 months processing time + dashboard info, which does not reflect what we observe here. CSC says 5 months but they indeed, beat that, and TSC is behind that goal. On paper, they are the same.

Yes I totally agree with you! The senator need a VJ account so they can see for themselves, send a screenshot showing the difference between the two service center? And paint a bigger picture of it actually showing proof of the fast approvals, I doubt it everyone is telling lies. Maybe 1 or 2 but not all :)
