Hi.

I've read thread after thread about how far behind TSC is processing I-129fs and I am just so frustrated by the unfairness. Should I move across the country for 6 months just to get the USCIS to process our application 4-5 months sooner? It's just ridiculous.

I am going to email my senators and congressperson about this absurd imbalance. I am also trying to bring it the attention of the White House. Please sign the petition here: http://wh.gov/loVaS Ask your friends and family to sign. Email your representatives with a link to the petition so that they can see how many of us are affected. If we get 100,000 signatures by June 28 (a stretch, I know, but let's try!), the White House will review the petition directly!

Thanks.

Heather.

Good one Heather!!! I just signed as a signature #40 and sent it to my friends and family to sign as well. I hope we get enough signatures on this petition!!!!!

No approval yet..

I work for an American company and it's very frustrating when they ask what the status is of my I-129F and I can't give them an answer; This has been costing me career opportunities. There is a position just minutes from our home, which once again I'm going to lose out on, causing me to wait until everything has been finalized and end up taking a job that I have to drive an hour to.

My fiance is filing our I-129F because we want to be together and start our life together and have kids soon, but HELLO, people still have bills to pay and and future savings to build up; Why don't they get it that it not only are we away from our loved ones, but the expenses that we take on during this process and waiting for our EAD, is just as bad?!

Sorry guys, I just had to rant..

Hi anyone else get Approved yet from February????

Still nothing. I'm holding out hope, I still check the USCIS website daily even though I know it won't say anything other than "Initial Review".

Looking at others timelines, some have the whole process completed in 130-170 days, but it looks like the 230-260 day timeline is more normal for the Texas Service Center. That puts most of us into October or later before we can make plans to move!

My glimmer of hope is that there is a record breaking case officer there that churns out cases and approvals like there's no tomorrow! I want to be on his/her pile of applications! Fingers crossed!

I dont think we would get our NOA2 around October. That would make more than 8 months. I think they would be done with Dec by the end of this month. In July they would process Jan and August they would be processing Feb. What messes is people who ask for expedite and people who reach out to their senators before their 5 month is up.

I dont believe expedite requests or senator inquiries have anything to do with how long it takes for petitions to be approved. Maybe I'm incorrect, but I don't believe that the same people who are reviewing and approving petitions are the same people processing inquiries and expedites. That doesn't make any logical sense.

I didn't say anything about getting our NOA2 in October, more likely July as others have stated. I was talking about the completed K1 visa, that's the end goal right? The NOA2 is just the beginning of this long process.

It takes as long as it takes!

people who decide on the expedites might be different but at the end, it goes to the same adjucators. So, an adjucator gives priority to an expedite than to somebody who is waiting. So, think about it

Perhaps, but I doubt the expedite requests are being granted with unjust cause.

That's absolutely devastating!

I know we all just have to stay positive; although some days are harder than others.
