Medical exam booked on 10/01/14

Waiting for packet 4 and interview date!

Hi,

I got the approval letter from the London embassy, so do I now just book the medical, then they book my interview?

What is a DS-160? Or a readiness form?

My fiancee' in Malaysia just received the second letter (not sure which packet number to call this) from the embassy with the interview date (which we will reschedule to the following week so I can fly and be with her), final list of things to bring and what order to have them stacked, and the instructions for the medical exam. She will do the medical exam her tomorrow morning. Dream coming true.

Just got packet 3 this morning :) it's time to schedule the medical now.

I really think that someone needs to update the info regarding Dublin medicals on VJs embassy page. Haha. In most countries, you have to wait for the medical, but in Ireland you can definitely have the medical done any time, bearing the 1 year validity in mind. Either way, the process will still fly for you! :)

Had medical in London today. Readiness and DS160 done today. Anyone know how long roughly till my actual interview? Heard it can be 3 to 6 weeks after medical.

One question however, on the readiness form it asked countries I've resided in longer than 6 months. I was in Australia for 11months. The embassy website says you don't need a police certificate unless 12 months or over outside UK... anyone had any experience with this?

I'm not sure about time scales. I hope it went well for you. Do you mind me asking how it was? Questions asked, how long you were with the Dr etc?

I've spent today and yesterday on the phone to NVC. I guess USCIS failed to get my DOB correct so NVC refused to speak with us lol even thought I could confirm the incorrect DOB they had.

Eventually got it amended thanks to one nice helpful advisor. Any idea how long before it's processed and sent to London?

Also, just to give an idea of the timeline, my medical was three weeks ago and I got my appointment letter a week and a half ago.
