Feb 21.. still waiting :(

Don't start worrying quite yet. I was 2/20 and only got approved 2 days ago. I will say that contacting my congressman and state senators helped alot, so If you haven't tried that already, I would strongly recommend it. I know the anticipation is terrible, but I'm sure you guys will hear something very soon! I'm sending good vibes your way!

Good morning all, and congrats to all the recent approved filers.

I have receveid a letter dated on 7/28 saying the petition is approved and they have sent the original visa petition to the DOS NVC. However I received below update email today:

"On August 14, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

Does that mean they just sent it to NVC yesterday?? so what were they talking about on the 7/28 letter that they have sent the petition to NVC.... I am confused....

Yep! They sent it to NVC which is under the Department of State! Congrats!

When its there do you have to call? Or just wait till it gets at your embassy/consulate where they will send you the package? Not sure what is the best way to go when I get my noa2

Similar to another post (prior to getting approved) I had looked at other cases with subsequent #s to my case #. The results are positive, none have been denied.

0% Denied

9% rejected (bad address/incorrect submission)

13% Waiting for A#

February 27.

And no patience left! I found 22 petition not approved before/after ours. I seriously cant wait for the day when I dont have to check USCIS website anymore

17/02/2014: I-129F sent

27/02/2014: NOA1

12/08/2014: RFE

10/09/2014: NOA2

12/09/2014: Case sent to NVC

25/09/2014:NVC received
