Yes I do believe there is a criteria for Expedite request due to whats going on in Ukraine. Try to call and see if you can Expedite your petition. I can just imagine how bad it is in Ukraine, im watching it on tv every day. :( Good luck you and your family, be safe!!!

Thank you for your compassion and yes, it's bad here where I live... right in the middle of the military action. We trying to put in the Expedite for 3 months now; my honey called, e-mailed and mailed them - apparently USCIS doesn't think war is something worth considering. Safe and quicker journey for you too :)

I see they're still expediting petitions from the Philippines. I would think that if you're from Ukraine you could request an expedite as well?

I would be happy for USCIS sharing that opinion... alas.

Wow, that's not fair. War zone...you could die. Good reason for an expedite for me...

I am the petitioner.

Hi guys,

Pretty excited... Just booked a flight to go visit Rebecca. I'll be leaving August 6 and coming home August 10. It's only 4 days but I'm very excited and it will be worth it. I also sent in two letters to a Congressman and a Senator today so maybe something will come from that. We're coming up on 6 months... Maybe there will be some action on our case in the near future. Wishing everyone the best and sending you positive vibes.

Hi everyone,

I just got a call from my congresswoman's immigration rep. He said that the people that handle congressional inquiries at TSC are at some sort of training conference. He didn't know until when. So anyone filing congressional inquiries, I guess expect to wait more than usual.

Hang in there! Our time will come soon.

Good to know, my congressman's immigration rep was going to call them on Monday. I'll give her a couple more days before following up.

Thanks! Good to know! We sent our release form last form so that they could have access to our case. I have been anxious and waiting for a response; My fiance requested a meeting with immigration in regards to our case and they set a date for next week for him to go into their office.

An Infopass appointment? I'm curious to see if that helps. My service office is an hours drive, so I'd have to take off work. Will you let us know if it's worthwhile?

Based on the information provided by USCIS, it is not clear which date they are processing. The dec 17 date was applicable to May 31st so more than 50 days have passed and USCIS is not able to let us know how much longer we need to wait.

I think this is the worst part about this whole process. If they actually kept timelines updated and were open about how long things are really taking, people wouldn't be so anxious. Cases should all be like Amazon with a tracking number that actually updates. There has to be a better way. Throwing arbitrary dates at us only makes it all the more difficult to wait.
