I visited the civil surgeon in my area today (Honolulu) and had my vaccinations record transferred to the medical supplemental form. I was charged $95 plus taxes, is this normal??

Yes it is. They usually try to rip you off. I don't know how many surgeons you called before you decided on one but it is usually better not just to pick one but call ALL of the surgeons in your area that are on the USCIS list and compare prices. I eventually paid 50 Dollars for the I639A.

gp doctors for bloodtest for inoculations. does she really need shots for Tetanus, Varicella MMR - Measles, Mumps, & Rubella (MMR). You should get verification of this before she leaves. (Get a copy of the medical)

You GP Doctor can give the Tetanus and a test to see if Varicella and MMR are needed.

1/10/07 - Got MMR shot $20.00

Civil surgeon for form 639a $40.00

Make sure they do not try to give entire med exam (K1) and get a copy of form if they feel they need to seal the envelope

It is more less normal, I piad for mine (I693A) in Honolulu (Waikiki area) $ 80.00 about 3 weeks ago.

That is about the amount we paid. I know some have been charged huge amounts!

Seems pretty high if they just filled out the supplement. We paid $25.00

But had we needed MMR, they would have charged $80.00 for that shot. Then you see another physicians charging $20 for the same shot.

What these doctors charge is all over the place. The uscis should set the rates for the civil surgeons, because some people are getting hosed.

Thats' the problem these things aren't standard...they can just charge what they please, rip you off, not rip you off, but rip the next person off because htey didn't rip you off.or just plain rip off everybody (which I think they tend to do)...the vaccination process once in the USA really sucks

I only found 2 reasonable doc in Oregon that only will do the supplement. The one I went to (Al Torres) only charged $5 for the supplement and he was all around great enterainment!! The rest wanted up to $200!
