Crossing the border to Mexico and cross back through POE is considered entry?

Hi everyone,

So we are now preparing all the required forms for AOS and I'm a little confused with the term "Last Arrival".

On May, 2013, I crossed the border to Nogales, Mexico just to walk around and buy some souvernirs with my friend.

When we crossed back, we've gone thru officers at the Nogales port, we've got moved to a room and we showed the officer our passport, ds-2019....

After few minutes of working with computer, the officer let us go and she asked me "Are you going to cross the border again?"

I answered "If it's too complicated and makes you work with the system for long time again, we won't"

She nicely said "No, it's simple. It was just some computer's issues that makes you wait a little longer"

My question is: Is this time considered my last arrival? Because they didn't stamp or write down anything either on my passport or my ds-2019?

Yes, that was the last arrival in the US

Yes, that was the last arrival in the US

So there's records on system but they haven't noted down anything on my documents. Almost got tricked.
