hello everyone :dance: ! I just want to know if my wife can petition her parents from philippines even she's only U.S Permanent Res. right now. Although by next week we are filling our I-751 which is Petition to Remove Condition on Residince. And if she can, what are the requirements for this?PLEASE anybody answer my question coz' want my wife to be more happy. Her mom and dad travel a lot but she want them to stay her in U.S. So,please anybody answer this post.

She will not be able to petition her parents till she becomes a US Citizen. an LPR can only petition a spouse and children.

Immediate Relatives of U.S. Citizens (IR): The spouse, widow(er) and unmarried children under 21 of a U.S. citizen, and the parent of a U.S. citizen who is 21 or older.

Not until she naturalizes and becomes a US citizen can she petition for her parents.
