We got our NOA2 on April 7th and 25 days later NVC still does not have a record of it. Keeping fingers crossed our package did not fall through the cracks!

GAH! i wish there was some way we could know our status without calling them. It's far more embarrassing to talk to a person every time I want to obsessively check our case status than it was to enter our receipt number in to the USCIS website 100 times a day.

The last time I called, the nice lady had me read my NOA2 to her, presumably to make sure I fully understand the part that said we shouldn't expect any movement until 30 days after our NOA2. I've only called three times, but I still felt silly. Sigh. This might be harder than waiting for the NOA2. Maybe.

My NOA2 was on April 22 and we haven't got our new case number yet, I hope it's soon.

By the way I am CSC filer too.

Good luck to all of us!

I have called the NVC four times. No case number yet. Sigh. They keep saying four weeks. But on VJ lots of people have gotten a case number in only two. Jeepers. Who do I believe? Is it okay to keep calling them? Goodness, this waiting is almost harder than the wait for the NOA2.

I'm still waiting on my case number too. I've been calling like every day and still no luck. Hopefully it will come soon.

Don't think so. As far as I understand all they do is load your file in their system and forward the material to the embassy.
