Finally approved. Status updated to "New Card is Being Produced"

Called USCIS multiple times last week trying to get to a Tier 2 person, without success. Managed to get a Tier 2 person this week on Monday.

The person said that it seems they removed all conditions in May 2015 but never got to updating the case and producing the card. Interesting.

We were less than 4 months shy of TWO YEARS of waiting!

Hopefully we will send in N400 Next month.

Finally approved. Status updated to "New Card is Being Produced"

Called USCIS multiple times last week trying to get to a Tier 2 person, without success. Managed to get a Tier 2 person this week on Monday.

The person said that it seems they removed all conditions in May 2015 but never got to updating the case and producing the card. Interesting.

We were less than 4 months shy of TWO YEARS of waiting!

Hopefully we will send in N400 Next month.

What happened to your case? Was it pending security checks? I'm yet to find someone who is going through what I'm going through and is just waiting. I've spoken to tier two officers and all the tell me is wait. This is so frustrating

Absolutely no clue exactly what they were waiting for. We did get an RFE in December'14 which we responded to in Jan '15.

Mid-year '15, at an InfoPass session, the officer pulled the file (bulky!) and leafed through it and told us all looked great, and that a letter for an interview should be on way soon - by end of year, we were still waiting for the interview letter.

As frustrating as it was, sometimes we did laugh around, even joked that we should name our son Uscis (yes, after sending in the ROC, we got pregnant, had a son who is now crawling and standing, and did so many other things... that's how long the wait has been)

The extension letter and the stamp in your passport should meanwhile provide some [much needed] comfort. It did for us.

just a quick update, today i receive a mail for an interview on 02/10/16. nearly 2 years waiting/background check clearance. i got 1 more steps to overcome. Could anyone provide any feedback how your interview went. and what documents should we bring on that date? Thanks a brunch

I'm locked out of my Stuart and Thea account at the moment due to an email change, waiting to see if I can get it back, so using this one for now.

We're still waiting, and I talked to a second tier officer today named Officer Buyo (a 27 year veteran he didn't fail to mention at least 4 times during our short phone conversation)

Officer Buyo says that every single applicant for an I751 MUST have an interview. Every single person gets one, no matter what. All those people who didn't get one? Well, they must be liars and bullshitters just trying to make the rest of us feel bad? I actually had him repeat himself a few times, because yes, everyone gets an interview and he's a 27 year veteran of the force (his words) and wow is he ever condescending. I also had him spell his name because he spoke so quickly he was hard to understand and even though I had him repeat it, I was sure he has said his name was Bilial, not Buyo. Glad I had him spell it out, because apparently the upper tier officers don't have ID numbers either.

But yeah, the whole, everyone gets an interview thing has me so frustrated because that's a flat out lie, and I KNOW that, just from being on here, so I don't have very much confidence in him saying that, and that I shouldn't be impatient just because it's almost at 22 months when the normal processing time is 6 months. This is normal??? According to him yes, we're still in some kind of background security clearance. Like really???? I bet they lost it, and this guy doesn't know what he's talking about anyway. I'm so upset by this, I've been crying now for the last half hour, and just can't stop. I keep having to go 150 miles away for infopass appointments to update my extension, (they don't do it in my state) and I have to go for another one again... thought I'd call and see if there's anything.

The infopass people tell me they have no idea what's taking so long, the condescending ####### on the phone today asks me if I don't ask them what's going on?? Like I'm some idiot that should have thought of that myself! If you EVER get officer Buyo on the phone, hang up an call back, believe me, waiting for another call from someone else would be worth not having to deal with him ever. This man made me feel like a bug that he thinks needs squashing.

Seriously, who in their right mind would stay in this country if it WASN'T because they loved someone? I tell you if I didn't love my husband I would have left years ago, or at least be on the first flight home with my son who hates this country and everything about it. So yeah... How's your day going?
