Hi guys! I need word of advise. I'm confused more than ever. So as you all know we had interview and officer denied our case, today I checked online status and it's saying we have ordered your new card and will mailed to the address stated in you application. OMG is it a mistake or how it's even possible, does it ever happened to someone? Have you heard stories like this? I don't know should I be happy or not, because I'm afraid what if it's not real, please share your opinions, I will appreciate your answers!

Congrats! You can always call them to verify after you receive your card in the mail otherwise I think you were approved!

Congrats Cherry79! Most likely decision was overruled by supervisor. USCIS has to have substantial evidences that your case is fraudulent in order to deny it. I believe they couldn't prove it... That's my theory....

The officer is not the final person who decides! They probably sent your file over to their supervisor who approved your application otherwise you would have received a request for evidence (RFE) or a denial notice! Alright....time to party

I am not sure whether it was your post I had commented earlier on when you said that the officer said he would deny it but I said that is not necessarily the case as a senior officer above the interviewer has to look at it and can overrule. I guess that is the case. I think somebody even updated your denial before I said that is unwise and it may not happen. Oh well...sooo happy for you Cheryl. Congrats

I think after supervisors review it was clear they had no base to deny you. I believed that from the beginning.
