I am at April fillers Thread, but it is not as active as this one. I am still waiting too - almost 11 months into my case, On top of it, I filed a service request on February 23rd and received an automated reply to expect a response by March 17th. Today is March 17th and I haven't heard from them yet. It has been 72 days since I sent my RFE back. Today I contacted my senator. There is a special form that you can fill out online to request help. Will let you know how this goes! :clock:

Have anyone tried contacting a congressman or senator? I did today. Let;s see if this works.

Can you provide more information about how to contacting a congressman? I'm in NYS.

Simply Google the congressman who represent my state and shoot them an email?

I'm an April filer too but my receipt date is may 5th! Just now made an infopass appointment at infopass.uscis.gov/infopass.php I'll be going to the local field office on Monday the 23rd.

05/25/2018: Received NOA Bio-metrics for I485 Appt: 06/10/2018

06/10/2018: Bio-metrics are completed

06/12/2018: Received RFE requesting for a Birth Certificate for both parents

07/28/2018: Responded to RFE, sent their non availability of birth certificate copy

08/02/2018: Online status changed to " Request for Evidence was Received"

08/29/2018: Made an info pass appointment requesting for expediting Travel document as parents had to travel India. Expedite request was rejected 

09/14/2018: I131 Parole document was Approved

I simply googled a congressman in my state who can help with immigration issues and one of them came up. I filled out the form on the web-site and then I had to print it out, fill out my SSN and sign and send to him by email. i didn't receive any answer confirming receipt though.

7 may 14- checked cashed
10 may 17- hard copy noa rcvd for 1-13, ead and i-485
31 june 07- bio appt , walked in at SFO ASC June 20, 2012
june 26 - bio sched
44 june 20- walked in bio
56 july 2 - received notice for interview 8/8 @10:25am
73 july 19 - ead approved, card ordered for production
79 july 25 - ead picked up by usps
81 july 27 - got ead in the mail
93 aug 8 - interview at NBC SF , For further review and Security clearance
99 aug 14 - finally, approval and card production email
100 aug 15 - mailed approval notice for i-130 and i-785
105 aug 20 - received hard copy of NOA Approval notice
107 aug 22 - recieved my COnditional green card
01 may 8 - mailed I 751
07 may 15 - received NOA (1 YR GC extention) dated 5/12/14

33 june 10 - called USCIS to inquire about Biometrics appointment

35 june 12 - received letter dated June 12 from USCIS saying i do not need a Bio since they pulled my recent Bio from file

40 june 17 - called USCIS and talked to Tier 2 and was able to get my receipt number to monitor my status online.

N-400 Journey

00 - 2015/05/15 - sent N-400 packet to USCIS

2015/05/20 - check cashed

2015/05/23- I-797 received

2015/05/30 - biometrics appointment for June 08 (early walk-in)

2015/07/08 - interview notice

2015/08/10 - received interview letter for 9/10 but ask to reschedule

2015/08/18- received a notice email that my interview has been cancelled

2015/09/30- interview appointment

2015/xx/xx - oath taking

Pretty sure we are getting an interview too. I just called today to follow up since we were told we would hear something by 3/26 when we put in a service request in January. The tier 2 that we spoke with today said they are processing it currently in Vermont and they will be sending it to our local office. :-( This is so frustrating...

They received our packet May 12th 2014, then he went for biometrics sometime in June. I don't remember the exact date. We put a request for information in 1/26/15 to check on our case and received a letter stating we would hear something in 60 days. We called this morning and were transferred to a tier 2 person who said they were processing it now and it would be sent to our local office. I thought if it gets sent to our local office that means an interview is going to be scheduled? Please correct me if I'm wrong on this, because that's the feeling I got on the phone with her. No, we did not have an RFE.

Any info you all have is greatly appreciated!

I'm just guessing that this might even backlog CSC, which in turn, would be best for VSC to transfer those cases to your local USCIS field office instead of CSC.

It doesn't necessarily mean that you'll be getting an interview.

What documents should you bring to the appointment?

This section is very important; read it carefully. To resolve your problem or inquiry, you will need to bring documents that identify and explain the problem. Some of the documents you will need include:

Printout of the InfoPass appointment notice confirmation

Government-issued identification. This could be any of the following:

government-issued photo ID card

passport

valid drivers license

Employment Authorization Document, or Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card (green card)

Form I-94, Arrival-Departure Record; note: if your Form I-94 does not have a photo of you attached to it, then a passport or valid drivers license would have to accompany as an additional form of identification.

All immigration forms, receipt notices, approval or denial letters, translations and original documents that relate to your inquiry.

Done with infopass appointment. The officer said my case was Approved on 19th March.

SO far no email/ mail/ Text/USCIS website confirmation yet. I'll provide an update soon folks!

That is true, I have read a lot of cases here, where they were sent to their local offices and they did not get an interview. Eben the approval letter says that it was approved by the person at the local office when they get the notice.

I know LOL. I myself am wondering as to why i'm not very excited, may be i still don't trust the officer(waiting for the physical proof) or maybe its the long wait of over 11 months that pissed me of already.

Nevertheless i'm very grateful that USCIS didn't ask me for any extra evidence even though i moved from New Jersey to California :)

HELLO! I AM SO HAPPY I GOT A TEXT MESSAGE TODAY AND ALSO THE MAIL NOTICE.

I was approved on may 17th, and it was signed by the local office here in Atlanta.
