Should I submit a service request? It's been almost 8 months and we didn't hear back anything, not even the biometrics notice (found out later ours was "current.")

However, seeing that more than half of May filers are still on the same boat, we don't want to "tick off" the officer and have her/him give us a RFE.

What would you guys do if you were in our shoes?

It is a huge headache to put all docs together again. We thought we'll send it last week, but it's so hard to gather all the stuff. I hope we'll mail it today.

I would wait for the 8 months mark, maybe even couple more weeks before contacting them. But it's just me.

Putting in a service request doesn't harm.

05/11/2018: Mailed documents I130, I485, I131,I693, NBC for Adjustment of Status

05/16/2018: Received Date/ Priority Date - NOA Received

05/25/2018: Received NOA Bio-metrics for I485 Appt: 06/10/2018

06/10/2018: Bio-metrics are completed

06/12/2018: Received RFE requesting for a Birth Certificate for both parents

07/28/2018: Responded to RFE, sent their non availability of birth certificate copy

08/02/2018: Online status changed to " Request for Evidence was Received"

08/29/2018: Made an info pass appointment requesting for expediting Travel document as parents had to travel India. Expedite request was rejected 

09/14/2018: I131 Parole document was Approved

We sent our response to Vermont's RFE today.

The package ended up weighing 2.5 pounds. It took a lot to explain how it is we're really married and living together, yet we don't have any of the preferred documents on their list. We'll see what happens.

We know we are really married, so no stress.

When you get an RFE do you have to resend ALL the documentation again instead of just adding what you had not included earlier? We responded to an RFE with just (adding) new evidence like Title Deed to recently purchased home, new utility bills, and a couple other stuff. We did not resend documents we had sent earlier like IRS transcripts...

You did good, no they don't need same info again, they need additional one. In my RFE letter it was saying, please do not send documentation you have already submitted again.

I got a letter in the mail today telling me that i have to attend an interview on February 12th at 9:30am. It says "You and your spouse must attend". Well i don't have a spouse any more! I called them to find out if i can go alone or if im supposed to get my ex to go and tier 1 doesn't know and tier 2 were not available today due to the storm coming in.

05-18-2012 : NOA1 Email
07-26-2012 : NOA2 (69 days)
07-28-2012 : NOA2 hard copy received
08-10-2012 : LND Case number received. Letter dated 08-07-2012
08-15-2012 : DS-230 and DS-2001 mailed to Embassy
08-23-2012 : Medical
09-14-2012 : Emailed Embassy and confirmed DS forms have finally been logged (After 29 days)
09-22-2012 : Interview letter received. Dated September 19th.
10-03-2012 : Interview - Approved!
NOA1 to Interview - 138 days.
10-10-2012 : Passport with Visa delivered two hours late at 8pm.
