What did you send for evidence??

I sent three years joint tax returns, three years joint insurance policies, bank statements, photographs, our drivers licenses showing married names and address, my college paperwork showing our both names in financial aid forms, medical bills on our both names. We live with friends, because our credit history is not good and no one would give a lease ((( so we don't have joint lease agreement

I called USCIS customer case number to see if they can share any update on my Case as its past 7 months since I received my receipt number and no update after that, He put me on hold to speak with someone else and came back with an answer that "Currently the Vermont office is in the process of working on cases they received between May 1st to May 5th, 2014. so its looks like my case is in process at the moment.

LOL its crazy man. First they worked backwards then again went back to April. Then again they come back mid may.

I actually had posted my progress on April thread by error because my NOA was early May but I would like to fill you in on what happened with my case in case someone else's is similar to mine. After NOA, I didn't have to do biometrics since they said it was current. I had to call them to find this out. Then I got a letter that my case was transferred to California from Vermont in August. Finally on the 12/8/14 I got the approval letter so just waiting for the card to arrive. No RFEs.

They are looking for a proof of joint residence. That is one of the main things they look for. Maybe a letter from the lease holder would help? Someone with the similar circumstance hopefully can advise you on that.

I've been noticing that people are not having face-to-face interviews, but are still receiving approval letters. Are couples not required to do interviews when removing conditions??

We did not have an interview. I don't know about others though.

I basically sent what Cherry did, but I also sent a paper from the person I have sponsoring my wife that stated we live in their home, free of rent. Oh and it stated how long we'd been living here, too.

I used the link above....it is helpful. It says "Government documents showing common address" is good evidence. Do you have anything like that, since you do not have a lease? Affidavits from friends or family do not have a lot of weight.

I haven't received an RFE. Everything I sent shows our address. On the tax forms, I literally sent every page. For the paper written by our sponsor, that is our lease.

we got RFE today I hope it's just because of the tax copies. They ask for the transcripts in the letter.

They also say not to send whatever is previously send. So my question is, can we send up to date utility bills ? They were sent before, but we have many more since so much time passed ( all utility bills and 2 cars insurances ).

Can we add joined car title ? The car is sold, but we have a copy of it. We forgot to add this title during original filing.

And new joined title. The car is not new, but title would be newly joined. They ask for more joined stuff, we can make it joined.

I never asked for the medical records from the doctors. How to request these documents ? Just call the office and ask them to mail it to us, or it's possible to get them by visiting the office ?

Planning to send new stuff:

life insurance ( we both have it)

dental insurance (all 4 of us there)

3 years tax transcripts as requested

children's medical record, if I'll figure how to get them ( never did that before)

children's school record, if I'll figure how to get them ( never did that before)

car titles if they are sufficient document

my husband is suggesting to get the will. We where thinking about it, but wasn't in hurry. We are pretty young, and thinking about the will makes us sad

sworn affidavit ( from his mother and my daughters Godparents )

house insurance

updated utility bills

updated 2 banks, joined statements ( they were originally sent, but we would send updated statements).

copies of joined credit cards. I just found out one of our credit cards shows who used the card. So we'll add some of transactions to show who used the card. Do we need to send statements ? Statements doesn't show who did the transaction.

IRS letter stating amount of tax money to be returned.

what else could we think off ?

we don't have a lease. We moved in mid 2013. We provided renters insurance covering time in the previews place. For now we have joined house insurance only. We own the house, but I'm the only one on the deed. Is there any way to add him without refinancing ? We can't afford it now. His credit was bad during the house purchase, now mine is too low to refinance ( we tried in September) We explained why he is not on the deed.

Do we have to add more pictures ? We originally sent 49-50 pictures with family and friends.

I'm the beneficiary.

One more question. My husband just got his passport. Can we add those letters too ? It would show where he gets his important documents.
