Just a quick update, I got my text message and my email stating the my card is on its way, I guess they're catching up with the online part...so it is probably worth to check it again guys

Hey guys,

So I'm calling to check on the status of my husband's GC and the automated system states that the status of his receipt number cannot be found. However, I did call two days ago and received an update. Is this happening to anyone else?

Also, since the website's update, whenever I check for an update, I get a validation error

I called today to check the automated status, more confusion. Automated system stated my receipt date is 5/14, but actual date on the extension is 5/9, and 5/9 on the webasite. On 5/14 they cashed our check

Ohh no, I just called and says that I am not typing enough numbers, even thoug im using the correct one

Select the option that says you don't know and get to a live person. The first tier won't be able to help but if you explain you are past the processing time they can transfer you to tier two. I couldn't use the automated system either. Edited December 5, 2014 by chimcham

I didn't have a good experience calling. The tier 2 agent suggested my case was taking longer because I "might" have something on my record (i do not in the least) then told me that the 6 months timeframe on the site is inaccurate and its more like 8-12 months and is "only going to get worse" due to immigration reform. Needless to say, the call was worthless and not helpful. I hope everything goes well for you. I am sure you will hear soon!!

I called once, sometime ago, since it was in Spanish I got connected really fast, but she kept talking like a robot and did not help me at all
