Hey all! I am new here!

So, I sent my papers on may 7th, they recieved them on may 8th and I got my first letter (where they say that my conditional status is extended for 1 more ) on may 12th. It is june 10th and I have not recieved any biometrics letter. How do I do to talk with a person when I call to the USCIS number? I called and gave my reciept number but my case was not available... so I want to talk with a person... plz help! thanks

Finally got an email reply from USCIS about the call I made last week regarding the non delivery of my Bio letter.

"Thank you for your inquiry. The required biometrics for your Permanent Resident Card have been successfully uploaded from a previously filed petition/application. Therefore, an appointment at the ASC is not necessary."

Finally got an email reply from USCIS about the call I made last week regarding the non delivery of my Bio letter.

"Thank you for your inquiry. The required biometrics for your Permanent Resident Card have been successfully uploaded from a previously filed petition/application. Therefore, an appointment at the ASC is not necessary."

Now I need to call and see if they will give me my status tracking #.

Anyone else have any luck getting their On-Line Tracking # if their bio is not required?

I'll borrow this well-written Lainie B's post :)

Lately, not everyone has had to do biometrics for ROC. This seems to be a new change in policy for USCIS. In the April 2014 filers forum there are several filers who have had their biometrics waived. USCIS will be using their biometrics from their AOS instead. This may apply to you too. Check out the April and May 2014 filer forums:

You will only be able to track your status with your biometrics appointment letter case number, not your NOA1 letter case number. So if your biometrics was waived you will not receive a case number in the mail you can use for tracking online. Instead you will need to call USCIS and ask for your case number. The instructions on how to do this are in the April 2014 forum.
