NVC is slower than it was a month ago, and replies are changing

Hi there,

I'm doing Electronic Processing with NVC. Almost two months ago I got a I-864 checklist asking for a tax transcript (I had originally sent the whole return). So I sent them the transcript.

Now I got a notice that says I didn't fill out the required information in the body of the email that I submitted to NVCElectronic@state.gov.

Name of the person submitting the inquiry

NVC case number or USCIS receipt number

Petitioner's name

Principal Applicant's name and date of birth

I assure you, I DID include all of this info - (and more because I included petitioners' details too...this list of info required used to be longer a couple months ago). I think they rejected my submittal when they shouldn't have.

Now when I resubmit I don't get the autoreply you used to get when you sent something to NVCElectronic@state.gov. (If they're not going to even open it for a month or two, I'd at least like to know it was received into their queue!)

Are they rejecting anyone else's paperwork for not providing info that is clearly there? (Or did I miss something that I just can't see?) Are you others getting any autoreplies when you send docs to NVCElectronic@state.gov?

Thanks.

NVC must have figured out they shouldn't have rejected our checklist response because we got an interview date three days after the rejection notice.

Thanks for reply mattandinga. I see you're case complete and waiting for your date. Good luck.
