Hi all, I've been reading these post for months now and they have been very useful! being able to walk in to a bio appointment was great information that aloud my family to still go away as planed, when other wise we would not have gone and stayed to do the bio's on the appointment date.

We are AOS from H1b/H4 NOT through marriage.

Anyway today I got an email saying "Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On April 26, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application."

I'm not sure if this is just the travel document being made or if some how the green cards are already done O.o seems too soon for that. when I go to the USCIS web site it's on the final blue circle.

So anyone know if this is just the travel document? or should I be getting excited!

But it also says "or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). " and we did ask for a advanced parole, so are you sure? we only filed March 10th!

wow thank you! I really hope you are all right! it's so hard to believe that the csc is taking 5 months to process these but some how it's only taken 6 weeks! any way one more question for you, if these are the green cards (my husband got an email for his too) then will they still send EAC's once there are processed or just not finish them? I know we would not need them now so just wondering.

They probably won't send EAD cards, as you stated they would be irrelevant seeing they're already sending your greencards. My wife also got her greencard without ever receiving her EAD or AP.

Thank you Teddy. Ok starting to feel like I can have my little dance around the living room now :) we've been on visa's for 8 years so the idea that it's over and I don't have to think about renewals and so on for 10 years feels great!

I'll have a big dance when it's in my hand ;)
