Hey people, NVC deals with about 50000 spouse visas to a year. Plus they give case numbers to every fiancé visa. Plus PR spouse visas, child visas, parental, and sibling. I know you don't really think your case is the only one there right? You're at the end of the road where you get to actively participate instead of sitting on your thumbs and waiting for 6 months. Let's all get happy instead of grumpy!

Things are happening much quicker now. Just on Friday the AOS invoice reflected paid and I was able to send out the AOS package yesterday.

I've been looking at completing the IV but see that the status is "Not Available" in the fee section. I guess I am unable to access the online DS260 unlit the fee is paid? Can anyone else tell me their experience of when it becomes available to pay?

Good journeys to all.

IV bill invoice is completely based off of when the DS-261 is reviewed into their system. Normally takes 1-3 weeks. The ds-260 is available after IV invoice shows as paid. I invite you to read up on the NVC process in the VJ wiki. :)

Oh my goodness my spelling is horrid on my phone! So sorry!

I just kept checking the online system a few times a day to see its availability. Once it starts it seems to go pretty fast depending on how quickly you complete the online form.

Good luck!

Glad things are moving quickly for you. Still waiting on my case number. Hopefully will get it this week. Can't wait for tomorrow morning to call them :) not that this is how I want to spend my Monday morning :)
