Aoa to all kind VJ members. My question is that i interviewed Islamabad embassy sep-2013 for IV visa F4 category and still in AP for the last nine months.DNA test don in Nov-2013 that was ok . My case updated 20 time from the time of interview.My name start with Muhammad is that the reason of my AP.Any one name Muhamamd got IV visa issued from US Embassy islamabad.Kindly reply me.

Your name, nationality, sex, and country of residence and citizenship are the reasons for being in AP.

You're name is not the reason you go into AP, but from what a friend at a ME embassy told me is that it can definitely make the AP take longer if you have a common name because when researching you they have to differentiate you from all the other Muhammads. Inshallah your middle and last name are not as common. My fiance is also Muhammad, but has a more uncommon middle name which we are hoping will help a little bit. Good luck with you journey!

this sounds scary because my fiance's name is mohammad and after reading your post im just praying and praying that my fiance gets his k1 soon too because we havent seen each other for a year and 5 months its very disturbing...also, its been 3 months already that he is in AP. he was given 221g but nothing was required.
