Hi Everyone..... I finally filed for Change of Status after 8months of marriage(k1 Visa) and got a confirmation that it was received at the USCIS. So im wondering when they are likely going to send me EAD and also if anything is going to be different in my Processing considering that my Visa has already expired before i was able to file for the AOS. Thanks

Everyones visa expires as soon as they enter on a K1.

Exactly!! The K-1 is a one-time, one-way visa that is cancelled at the US POE.

Change of Status (COS) means change of one non-immigrant visa category to another - B1 to F1 for example. That's not what you're after.

You're doing adjustment of status (AOS) - to permanent resident K1>LPR.
