HI everyone,

I'm wondering if the Ciudad Juarez consulate conducts the interviews in spanish or english? My husband will eventually his interview out there (praying he is approved) but I know that he is not fully comfortable with the english language yet. Wondering if the Ciudad Juarez consulate gives you the option of choosing the language the interview is conducted.

Thanks!

Hi, I'm going to have my interview (fingers crossed since I've been waiting for an NOA2 for almost 6 months already...) in Juarez as well and I've looked up this question myself in different forums.

from what I've read they do ask you whether you want to have the interview in english or spanish. (Also I've read that people don't translate documentation that's originally in spanish when prodiving something to US consulate in Juarez... but that one I wouldn't if it's entirely true)

Hope it helps!

Saludos!

Hello!

The day of my interview, the CO asked me which language I use when I communicate with my wife; clearly it was English since they were already in possession of proofs (emails,...) showing clearly that we communicate in English.

I think he needs to be ready for everything! The US Embassy Staff in my country is supposed to speak French , but my interview was conducted in English.
