OK, so my RFE is for 864, too.

And it says I won't get EAD for 90 days now? Great. How am I supposed to get evidence like a join bank account without a social security number now? Anyone with some experience on this?

notscenenough,

I am sure some banks give you bank accounts without SSN. Since you are on F-1, if you can get a letter from the school's International Office that you are a student need a bank account; they will give you one. I know that Chase does here in Ohio and also Bank of America. Although the account will be a student checking account. Then, USC spouse can be added on that account or you can be patched on hers...either way should work!

What did the RFE say exactly?? Are they asking for joint bank accounts proof with I-864 now???

I didnt get an RFE yet although our timelines are similar...my msn id is ssk_81@hotmail.com

well im just saying that cause they also touched my other files without touching the 485 and then issued a RFE. so it looks very similar

do you have aim or msn ? maybe we can share our progress more

Same thing happened to me - they touched my I-130 and I-765 without I-485 and sent me an RFE :) And I was adjusting from F1 as well :) :) :)

I don't know about your SSN situation - I had a SSN from my on-campus job. But banks will let you open an account without one. Try Wells Fargo - they sure do.

Filed AOS from F-1
Green Card approved on 01/04/07
Conditions removed 01/29/09

Citizenship Oath 08/23/12
