I'm wondering what's USCIS's e-mail spamming world record? I just got 9 same RFE emails.

Ok, I get it USCIS, I screwed up. Why do you have to rub it in my face flooding my inbox with it?

Do you guys think RFE means significant delays for me now?

I dont think my RFE held me up but I will never know and neither will any of us...

If it did then it was only afew days I reckon...

If it's an RFE for further information on your 12 month holiday to afghanistan in 1992 and your purchase of 12 tons of weedkiller/diesel/sugar and electronic timers then thats different - and they will probably deliver the RFE to you personally at 3am - so yes it depends what it is for...

seriously - it wont be much - you see

We got an RFE and it didn't slow down our process at all. Our entire AOS process (up until the interview day) was only a little over 3 months. That's really quick. Also, a lot of clerks make mistakes when they send out RFEs. Our interviewing officer looked at our RFE and laughed. He said "I have no idea why they sent this to you, they claimed you made a mistake on your I-864 when you clearly didn't.. the clerk obviously had no idea what he was doing, but that's what you get when clerks in Missouri are insufficiently trained!" (yep, he actually said that!)

Apparently clerks send out wrongful RFEs all the time. I wouldn't worry about it. Like someone else said, just look at it as them working on your case :) Better than them forgetting it!

OK, so my RFE is for 864, too.

And it says I won't get EAD for 90 days now? Great. How am I supposed to get evidence like a join bank account without a social security number now? Anyone with some experience on this?

I just got 9 emails saying my RFE was received. I read each one hoping there was one saying the greencard was on it's way but alas, they were all the same.

Good luck!
