I wasn't looking for any guesses Belinda. I was only looking for a person, who undoubtedly exists, whose attorney was fortunate enough to reach tier2 for clarification over the phone (on any matter). Attorneys usually don't have time to sit on hold forever, with unproven success.

OK....let the silence continue while your clock runs down. You do know if you fail to respond or fail to respond properly your I-485 will be denied and deportation proceedings will begin?

Why don't you have your attorney call? I mean they are the experts.

Thank you again capri - it is members like you that keep me on this forum! Civil Surgeon's secretary agreed to charge me just $40 for half-hour paperwork that it took to produce new medical packet. So RFE is answered already! At the same time, USCIS promised to get back to the attorney "within 72 hours" about USCIS's postal return receipt of September 2013 for original I-693. We'll see if they keep this promise

When did you do the first medical? May have expired, have missing signatures or wrong dates etc. Check before they seal it, if you can.

Anyway I got the same RFE before during my AOS stage, exact same wording as yours for I-693, so I found a civil surgeon who did the complete medical for $120, sent it two days later and was approved two weeks later.. real easy! And yes, they did claim to have "lost" my medical. Although in my case, I suppose its possible, because its submitted during point of entry with my entire K1 packet.

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thank you, VJ! smile.png

wow, is this you so cute on your avatar?

My attorney has Vermont's return receipt for medical from September 2013. That original medical also cost me $120 (what a coincidence). They just ditched it somewhere between Vermont and Missouri, what can a boy do. Mailed the new one to Missouri yesterday - when can I expect GC in the mail?
