I haven't had my interview yet. I wonder if how I and the other applicants pass their K1 interview in the US embassy? Does the 1 week rule of delivering the visa is firmed? Or do they do delayed sometimes? If ever, For how long?

You know tgat you pass the interview because tge co says to you congratulations your visa is approved.

They dont have a week rule.

Yes,it can do delay.

Each case is diferent, sometimes some cases go to administrative processing.

For how long?

Administrative processing can take, weeks, months or years. Who knows.

All you can do is wait and be patient.

When you interview they will tell you that you are or are not granted the visa. I am not sure about the week delay but many countries need at least 3 days to issue the passport with the visa in it.

If the visa issuance were delayed it would be a matter of supplying the embassy with whatever was missing from the docs for example if that even happened. As long as they have the docs there shouldn't be a real reason to be concerned. You would be given a 221 G form indicating the reason.

Do not begin to worry about things like A P. This doesn't happen in many normal cases that I have seen related to the P I. Others that have direct experience with your country will know best about this subject.

A consular officer would tell you at the time after the interview whether you have been approved or not. Based on my experience, I got my visa about 3 days after the interview. But, you should lookup to the Philippines forum to get an idea how long it takes. Good luck for the upcoming interview!

Don't expect to get a pass or fail at the interview, most don't hear those words.

If they keep your passport then that is a very good sign you have passed!!!!

The time between your interview and receiving your visa varies and there is no one here that with any certainly can tell or say an exact time of delivery, because no one knows. Each case is different. If your case is accepted and you have no delays you will receive your visa in 1 - 2 weeks. But no one can say for certain when you will get yours.

Do not purchase any plane tickets, quit your job or make any decisions regarding your visa till you have it in your hands.

Tons... and I do mean tons of postings on this... just relax and do some reading while you are waiting for an interview date.
