I was told to only send them what they ask for. If they needed other things they would have requested them in your RFE. I thought the same thing myself. I also got an RFE because I did not send my Spanish marriage certificate. I sent them the translated English version. Apparently they understand Spanish.

An RFE is an opportunity to send in additional evidence of your bonafide relationship. If you have anything more to add send it along with what they are asking for. Please remember you are dealing with Lagos after TSC and it's best to have as much quality information in your file as possible, at that stage.

Hello Honestkings. :) .If you have additional evidence then send it.

However, If you do not want to send in additional evidence now with the RFE; As a CR1, you have the golden opportunity to send in additional evidence during the IV stage as well, were you planning on doing so then? My suggestion is either send in additional evidence now (If you have it) with RFE or with IV packet . It will not hurt your case.

I am sure our more experienced members will give their input soon, but adjudicators and CO's often make decisions on your case before the interview based on what you have provided.

Best of luck!!!!

I hope to hear from other members too base on this issue.....

Samename is correct in all they have told you. If you have more evidence to build a better case than do it with your RFE. This way it will be looked at and approved by USCIS. Yes you can always add more at NVC and they will send that along also.

The key here is you want all evidence in your casefile to go to embassy before you so CO has in their hands to render a decision.

My PSA to all who say why send evidence take it to interview:

It always makes me shake my head people who submitted nothing but a marriage certificate get denied and complain the immigration process is bad or crooked. How in the world can a complete stranger know you are real and bonafide based on a wish and a prayer and a certificate?

Give them your best evidence to show your love story not quantity but quality. This is Lagos they don't play they have seen mountains of Skype, IM, email pictures and people still get denied. I know 3 couples she moved to Nigeria living their months years still denied. It's all about your evidence and quality of your evidence.

Get that RFE in soonest. You should hopefully get an approval within 30 days of not sooner.
