Leys explore your thought-

What if he felt that same way about Muslims..... would you take the same stand or is race now some special form of bigotry that one draws the line at?

Should he be thought of the same disparaging way?

You can't explore my thoughts, because the simplicity of my statement makes it impossible to be confused.

If he said the same thing about gays, Jews, Hispanics, or anybody else I'd still quit, there is no special line. Hate is hate, no matter how you try to mask it.

Why are you using Muslims as an example?

A: I used Muslims because you are a Muslim and I wanted you to relate to the question, thats all.

So if he had these same thoughts about Muslims, he would not be fit to be a team owner?

Chances are he does. Bigotry is often all-encompassing.

I usually agree with you, but not on this. Because folks can be selective bigots. It's crazy but look at this website. You have some truly hateful and racist folks here, who are married to people from other countries that aren't white. They hate blacks, Muslims, and Hispanics. Everyone else is cool in their book.

If he singles out an entire group of people and goes on tape about it, he needs to go.

Great point Marvin.

That woman can't love herself and be with a man like that.

Perhaps that tells us something about themselves and their self-worth, when they end up marrying the very objects of their despise.

Since you called yourself that, does that mean I have a free pass to start calling you a chubby white redneck? Or will you report me?

No only chubby white rednecks can call each other that. You do it and it is very very bad. You know how that works. None the less I never report unless the Mods yank me for doing something everyone else is doing. Even then it is about moderation policy not against an individual

There are some things you can't put a price one. My dignity, being one of them.

I could buy a lot of dignity for a million bucks.

This why I think it's selective. I've seen black men who hate white people date only white women, like it's a vendetta or something. I've seen white women who won't take a black man home with them, but love to share a bed with them. It's a mess to be sure.

Should the Democrats give his donated money back?

Why don't you ask them?

This would be the perfect solution to this mess:

For all these despicable revelations tumbling out of the hateful heart of Donald Sterling, there promises construction of a roadmap to redemption for the Los Angeles Clippers and the NBA. There's a way out for the most hated man in Los Angeles now, a way out for the commissioner's office and the owners responsible for long legitimizing and harboring a bigot and slumlord.

Magic Johnson and his billionaire backers, the Guggenheim Partners, want a chance to purchase the Los Angeles Clippers, league sources told Yahoo Sports. "Magic's absolutely interested," one source closely connected to Johnson's business interests told Yahoo Sports on Sunday night.

It's different when you have to versus you want to. If you don't mind it, knock yourself out. I couldn't for a second take money from some slime ball who thinks he owns me. If my family was starving and I had ZERO options, then I'd swallow my prided and do it. Because I know that's how it used to be.

You could be right. The wife is also an owner of the club. The lawsuit against the babe may be a red herring. It is possible that they colluded to get these remarks on tape so the NBA would take his part of the team away and allow her total control. Magic Johnson has expressed an interest in buying the club and now she posts a pic of her and Magic that set this all off. Interesting.

Just read on CNN about her and the wife. This sounds like a setup. Either the wife got to her and talked her into it for some cash or someone else did it. And he walked right into it.

I guess that's the way it is, just messed up you have to work for someone like that.
