What forms do i need to complete alongside my I-129F?

I can transfer with my current employer in the UK to a branch in the US. But i have to resign and reapply when i arrive in the US. The problem is i cant leave it too long between resigning and reapplying because i'd lose my rate of pay and other bonuses.

Can anyone advise on correct forms i need to fill in and the best course of action to take?

After entering using your K1 visa you need to first get a marriage license, then get married and then file for Adjustment Of Status (AOS), following this guide - http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

It will take 60-90 days after the USCIS accepting your application for you to get an EAD to authorize you to work if there are no issues with your application.

First you do the I-129F petition. Then when that is approved, you will apply for a K-1 visa at your consulate.

After you arrive in the US using your K-1, print out your I-94(https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html) and apply for an SSN(wait a few days no need to wait a whole 2 weeks) > http://www.visajourney.com/content/ssn You can apply for the SSN before or after getting married or filing for AOS. As long as the I-94 has at least 14 days left on it before it expires, you can apply for the SSN based on the I-94. If you wait too long, then you can apply for the SSN after you receive your EAD.

When you get your marriage certificate back from the court, apply for AOS. Apply for the EAD and AP at the same time. The fees for those forms are waived when filed with a pending I-485, and they are all sent together in one mailing. Follow the guide linked above.

First read the K1 guide and do what it says, then start looking at the UK forum and the guides in there, then you can start thinking about work and applying for AOS. You have no timeline so I can only assume you have not filed for K1 yet from what you said above. If thats right then look in the K1 fiancee visa forum and the UK forum. The forms you will need to fill out for work are when you apply for AoS although I am sure having some sort of letter ( maybe to have with your I129F and visa interview) from your employer stating you will have employment when the time comes will do no harm. Good luck

Thanks all. We've filled our K1 and it's at stage 2 at California office. I'm just trying to get ahead of the game after we get married. My head is battered with all theses different visas
