I have all the docs and forms ready to go. Just waiting on USCIS to ship my case to NVC? What's the shortest possible time to get case complete? And what is there to do to speed up the process? Waiting 4-6 weeks just to get case number seems unreasonable.

It took them 1 month to receive the documents from USCIS for me, then another month to input them into the computer.... then I find out they had a typo, and input the wrong birthday for the beneficiary, so I had to wait another month while they updated the file... So it took them three months just to get from USCIS to having the correct info in NVC for us... 4-6 weeks IS unreasonable... it is more like 2-3 months from my experience.

My husband is in Jordan and I'm at the NVC stage. Case received at NVC April 8th. I have completed all documents and am waiting for my supporting documents to be reviewed that I emailed 4/23. It's taking sooooo long and driving us crazy!!! Ice been searching everywhere and can't find many people dealing with embassy in amman so not sure the wait time there for interview. I would love to find out.
