DS-160 VISA Application payment at HSBC bank

hi.

my fiancee completed the DS-160 e-form and got the confirmation.

Now for payment, make an account

and print a payment slip.

2 questions:

1) does the payment have to be at this very specific HSBC bank

HSBC Metropolitan 235 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

or any HSBC bank, since I would make the assumption that all HSBC bank are connected and the payment goes to the specific US consulate account.

can I pay at HSBC bank in the US?

can she pay at HSBC bank in Hue?

if no,

2) can my cousin make the payment with copy of 'payment slip' at the HSBC Metropolitan 235 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

=> trying to save an extra flight to Saigon just to make a payment - i guess she can go make the payment and get medical check/vaccine as well.

The payment can be made at any HSBC bank that accepts payments. Just make sure it is a bank branch. Bring your slip and within 24 hours you will get an email that you can make your appointment.

You can also make the payment at the local Post Office.
