Hi,

I got my NOA2 on April 11th stating my petition for IR1/CR1 for my wife was approved. I called the NVC and asked them if they received my case and they said they had no information and to check back with them in 4 to 5 weeks.

When I called the USCIS and entered my case number the automated system told me it was shipped on April 18th. Is it normal for them not to have received it in 6 days? Should I keep calling the NVC to find out if they received the file from USCIS ? Does it make sense to just keep calling them until they give me a case number. Insight would be appreciated.

Yes it is normal. Took almost 2 weeks for my case to reach NVC. Even when your case gets there it'll take around 30 days to get the case number so no need to be calling everyday. Maybe every few days to save yourself the stress
