Hi i have recieved the letter to pay 88 aos to start the process . Unfortunally i cant pay it now because am in the dominican republic and my mom who was the one that recieved the letter cant payit.am going to new york on may 13 and i will pay it once i get overthere .. will that delay my process and i can i pay it that late ?

Well, it will delay the process somewhat, because "the process" doesn't start until you pay. But, yes, you should be able to pay in May and start then.

If you fill in your timeline, it will help other people in your situation. I assume you're at the NVC stage of an ir1 application. If you have your banking info and an internet connection, you might actually be able to sign in and pay the AOS fee from the DR.

is there any reason why you not utilize the online payment portal for NVC stuff?

Yes, but the thing is that i dont have a bank account so am planning on openning one once i get over there thats the reason why i havent done it online also i am doing it through an agency so i need to go to the agency once i land i just wanted to make sure they dont stop the process or whatnot

there are 2 things, so you've a total of 2 years to get it wrapped up at NVC.

I'm sorry you've chosen such a backwards agency, however,

as seemingly their ignorance has shifted you and your casefile into NVC Postal Processing Mode,

and that's a slow slog at NVC.

So that would mean that the procees is going to be slow ?

Ask the people at the agency if you can pay online once you've opened a US checking account. That should help speed thing up once you're back in the US.

Yes it will delay your process because you can't move forward with sending in your AOS package until you pay. You can't pay online from there? Long as its a Bank in US (it doesn't have to be your account anyone can pay it),

hi guys .. we need ur help .. my wife tried to pay AOS fee but when she click on the next step its says no dada rceived .. anybody knows what browser should we use ?

Thank you.. so am able to use my moms bank account ? But how bout if am filing with an agency dont i have to go to the agency to pay it through them
