does anyone have an example of their cover letter for their adjustment packet that they'd be willing to share with us? My wife is looking for an example that she can implement her own ideas into. Or a template cover letter would suffice, as well.

Thanks in advance

HI again,

You can travel within the US at any time as long as you have a valid passport even though your ESTA is expired.

wow guys we really thank you so much. All this help was unexpected :):) :)

Btw, when i said my Esta is not expired, (it is valid for 2 years), but i'm on overstay (i'm here more than 90 days). In the last trip (within Texas where i actually live), police men checked my passport and asked me question as when i was going to live the Us and ecc...now we would have another trip in California, but we are scared i could be deportated and banned. So, do you think may i travel after i'll get the NOA1?

I would definitely hold off on the trip to Cali if possible until you receive the NOA1 for the I-485. Always keep a copy of it on you at all times and you're good to go.
