K-1 VISA - Change Address Before Filing Adjust. of Status Question

Hello,

My fiance has entered the USA on a k-1. We have switched addresses (different then what was filed in orginal k-1 paper work, as well as S.S. Admin). We have yet to file for the AOS, I am in the process, the question does do we need to inform anyone of the change of address, or can we just put the new address on the AOS forms and Aff. of support?

Yes anytime an alien changes address USCIS must be informed by filing form AR-11 by law within 10 days, and after they have Adjusted status you need to file AR-11, and I-865.

Can filing a change of address be done after 10 days? I didn't know that I had to do this until I found this post. I entered the US on Dec 3 by K-1 visa. And we have moved to Texas on the 7th. Can I file the form now?

Yes, just be aware that you need to file change of address any time you move.
