hi Vjers,

First, I like to thank all the Vjers who had helped us one way or another during our K1/AOS process... this is really such a helpful sit !!!!

In any case, I like to share my AOS interview @ San Jose this afternoon!

Our interview was for 1230 PM in San Jose. We arrived about 45 minutes earlier, went through the Security scan at the front entrance and proceeded up to the 2nd floor.

We dropped our appointment letter in the box and had a seat.

There were NOBODY in the room at all. So me and my hubby was just chatting away.

Our name was called at 1230 PM sharp and we meet the interviewing officer at the entrance door. We then followed him to the aisle of offices to his office.

He was pretty pleasant and upon entering his office, we were immediately sworn to tell the truth.

HE had a thick file of our petition and stuff. At this point we were really nervous but he didn't ask any questions except going through the documentation. He asked if I had done my vacinnation in US and I told him I had done it in Singapore.

He asked me the few standard questions from the form about ever being deported, terrorist, .....etc

He asked my hubby if he's still working in the same company and then asked for his 2005 1040.

Then, he asked us if we were ever married, any kids.....

He also asked hubby if he had met my parents before ...which he said a few times and very soon again :) ** we are going back home in Feb! **

He then asked me if I am planning to travel any time soon. I told him about our vacation plan to go back to SGP in Feb and then he smile said something like we are finishing up here.....I am planning to approve you and you should be receiving your conditional GC in 4-6 weeks. Congratulation! :)))))))))))))))))))))))))

He also gave us a I551 stamp on the passport that valid for a year.

Gosh, what a relive !! WE were out of the office in 20 minutes or so! :)

Thanks once again to all and good luck to all still in the AOS process.

cheers
